It combines glycolic acid with retinol to resurface the skin, treat problematic skin, reduce fine lines and encourage cellular renewal. There is zero downtime and you’ll notice immediate results from the first treatment, which are prolonged and enhanced when continuing with a series of treatments.


What is Involved in a Fire & Ice Facial?


The facial involves treating the skin with two professionally formulated masques combined with iS Clinical products specific to the patient’s skincare requirements to optimise results. The ‘Fire’ and ‘Ice’ name given to this treatment is because of the sensation these masques have on your skin. But don’t worry, they’re not as as they sound! Both masques offer quite a pleasant and relaxing feeling, with a ‘tingly, warm’ sensation for the first ‘Fire’ masque and a ‘cool’ sensation for the second ‘Ice’ masque.


The first masque is for intensive resurfacing, clinically formulated with sugar cane (a source of glycolic acid), citric acid, apple extract, retinol (Vitamin A), niacinamide (vitamin (B3) and the potent including green tea . The second is a rejuvenating masque, which is a soothing, hydrating treatment formulated with sodium ( acid), aloe vera, green tea extract, liquorice, grape extract and rosemary extract. The two-step facial removes the top looser layers of the epidermis, while the superficial trauma caused to the skin stimulates the skin’s healing mechanism to boost collagen production.

This treatment improves the general texture of the skin by minimising pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles. The resurfacing results are a tighter, smoother and radiant complexion.
